Year Stewed Full of Seasonal Releases From the Brewer's Cabinet
Small-batch brewery announces four special brews to debut in 2018.
RENO, Nev., February 14, 2018 (Newswire.com) - In addition to their many established and sudsy favorites, The Brewer’s Cabinet will debut a new lineup of limited-release beers to celebrate the four seasons. First up is the Captain Jack Golden Ale in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows that will be on tap Feb. 24.
“We are eager to bring some different beers to our patrons,” said Michael Connolly, owner of The Brewer's Cabinet. “Our seasonal brews will give us the chance to really embrace the changing flavors and happenings throughout the year. This also gives our brewmasters even more creative freedom to make some great tasting beer.”
The Captain Jack Golden Ale is a light Belgian-style golden ale that has been moderately hopped with lemon drop and Sorachi Ace hops. Commonly enjoyed at the annual Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows’ Jack T. Reviglio Cioppino Feed & Auction; the yeast, malt, and hops harmonize creating a light yet flavorful easy drinking beer with hints of tropical fruit and citrus.
Our seasonal brews will give us the chance to really embrace the changing flavors and happenings throughout the year. This also gives our brewmasters even more creative freedom to make some great tasting beer.
In the summer, The Brewer’s Cabinet will release the Chilling the Most Anaheim Green Chili Kolsch Ale. Fall will bring the Headwall Hefeweizen, followed by the Development IPA in the winter months. The seasonal beers will be available for purchase on a limited basis at several local restaurants and pubs in Reno, Sparks, Carson and Lake Tahoe, as well as at The Brewer’s Cabinet Pub, Taproom and the White Fir Production Dock Sales on Friday afternoons.
The seasonal beer releases are on the heels of a collaboration beer with Sierra Nevada dubbed Electrum IPA that was on tap this past winter, in addition to several other beloved programs by The Brewer’s Cabinet. The annual Chef Series, recent athlete collaboration with Teal Stetson-Lee and the famously popular Strange Brews in May, all will continue on in great celebration.
