“These two local athletes have gone above and beyond in their professional careers, as well as being stewards of the community,” said Michael Connolly, owner of The Brewer’s Cabinet. “We look forward to raising a glass to their amazing accomplishments with beers inspired by who they are.”
Teal Stetson-Lee is a professional woman mountain bike rider who also works for Sierra Buttes Trail and is the first pro athlete to be sponsored by The Brewer’s Cabinet. The “Hate to See Her Leave, Love to Watch Her Gose” beer will release in April. With 4.8 percent ABV, this is a slightly tart kettle sour gose style beer made with Himalayan sea salt coriander, hibiscus, and fresh organic raspberry.
“We had a blast creating and brewing this beer with The Brewer's Cabinet athlete and professional mountain bike racer Teal Stetson-Lee. It’s the perfect refreshing beverage for sipping outside, after a ride, or anytime at all really,” Connolly said.
In May, the “Sorry for Partying Pilsner” will release in honor of Cam Zink, a local legend in the mountain bike industry and founder of Sensu Grips. This Imperial Pilsner has a 6.9 percent ABV, is dark golden in color and brewed exclusively with German malt and experimental German hops. It’s light and crisp with a melon-esque aftertaste.
