Opportunities RISE With OmniShield

Authorized Dealers Join Together for a Record Attendance World Meeting to Hear About New Technology That Will Redefine the Home Safety Industry

RISE World Meeting

In May 2020, UL 217 Standards will change the home smoke alarm industry. OmniShield is putting the final touches on a revolutionary new product line that will be compatible with their existing networks while meeting the new smart smoke alarm standards. In fact, the new product will exceed anything ever manufactured in the smoke alarm industry for residential use.

"Our whole home network has been experiencing 30 percent increases in production. Our factory is working seven days a week and we have huge plans for Vision 2020 that we announced to all the attendees," said Chris Roberts, president of the GHS Companies and the OmniShield brand. "We are adding dealers almost daily and the growth has been astounding. We look forward to the future and the opportunities we see in the next two years for our industry. While smoke alarms are only a small piece of our home safe network, we are excited to bring the best to the residential market. Our mission is to protect the world ... one family at a time. This new technology will only serve to improve our offering."

The big announcement for OmniShield dealers during the weekend was a new iPad demonstration designed to help market OmniShield Home Safe Networks. Of course, a show this professional takes many partners and the Marriott Legacy Park in Plano was the site of RISE - World Meeting.

"The Marriott is one of the finest facilities for an event of our size. The food is exquisite and the service is impeccable. We are returning next year for the third time and our goal is to knock out the remaining wall due to attendance," said Brent Jones, the vice chairman of the host and title sponsor, GHS. Numerous support companies providing product and financing were also in attendance and sponsored portions of the weekend. Over 400 people were in attendance for motivation, education and recognition. Elite Casinos provided a Casino for a Cause, raising over $4,000 for the Fallen Heroes Scholarship Fund. New York Dueling Pianos provided entertainment one evening and the Annual Omnis Awards Black Tie Gala provided the perfect ending to the week. Dealers from the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and Canada represented each country with their flags and the entire event was supported by Events Moderne, a DFW production company.

In keeping with the high quality of the brand, and only two days after arriving on a ship, the brand new "Pixels" provided a 30-foot-long by 9-foot-high LED screen for the backdrop of the event. This state-of-the-art production provided the perfect ambiance for a Dallas-based company built on quality. Next year's World Meeting is already scheduled for June 25-28, 2020.
