New Disc Archiver Is Released for Data Backup to Optical Discs

Disc Archive Software and Robotic Loaders Offer Hands-Free Backup Solutions.

Broadex Systems, Inc., the leading software developer, has released the new version of Disc Archiver software for backing up data from local hard drives to optical discs including Blu-ray, DVD or M-Disc with any internal and external optical burners. Additionally, Disc Archiver is compatible with Blu-ray/CD/DVD autoloaders, manufactured by Acronova Technology, Inc., to eliminate manual disc loading.

Disc Archiver can automatically calculate the total discs required based on the selected files and folders and burn onto discs. Large files can also be split and fit on to multiple discs. If operating Disc Archiver with Acronova disc autoloader, Nimbie USB Plus, up to 100 discs can be fed automatically at a time by the robot, bad copies are also sorted from the good ones, allowing the archiving process to be done efficiently and unattended. The new version of Disc Archiver now also added Windows 10 (32/64 bits) and German language support.

"Non-rewritable discs prevent modification and offer decent life span at low costs, which makes optical discs a great option for cold backup. Now with Nimbie disc autoloader, we can eliminate the trouble of manually feeding discs which was labor and time consuming," said James Tsai, Chief Technology Engineer of Broadex Systems, Inc. "We wish the new version of Disc Archiver with Nimbie autoloader can bring a cost-effective archive solution to more organization, business, government agency or individual." He said.

Disc Archiver Version 1.0.1 is free for download at Acronova Download Center. Starting at $559, Nimbie USB Plus disc autoloader is available via Acronova online store.
