Free VA Housing Summit for Veterans and Military Families - New Braunfels, TX - Sept. 23, 2017
SAN ANTONIO, September 19, 2017 (Newswire.com) - This Saturday, Sept. 23, the nonprofit organization, Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals, will be hosting a free VA housing summit in New Braunfels, Texas.
New Braunfels is frequently cited as one of the most sought-after locations for veterans to live in the United States. A study from Sperling's Best Places ranked New Braunfels as the fourth best place for veterans to live in Texas, and number 17 nationally.
More veterans are starting to realize they can use their VA benefits to buy their own home. At our VA Housing Summit, we will have local housing specialists available to educate veterans on down payment assistance programs. There will also be other mortgage specialists to discuss personal options for veterans, based on their situation.

New Braunfels - Free VA Summit - Learn how to use VA benefits to buy a home
Many veterans, reservists and active duty members don’t realize there are local, state and federal VA programs to help them with housing. In many cases, these benefits can make owning a home more affordable than renting.
Saturday's VA Housing Summit will educate attendees on the different programs available throughout the San Antonio area.

Most veterans and active military who attend this free VA housing summit will leave with a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) - the first step in qualifying for VA benefits.
Veterans and volunteers from VAREP will also help guide families with applications for home loan pre-approvals, down payment & closing cost assistance programs, and information on VA & low to moderate income loan assistance programs.
