Chinese Artist Fu Wenjun Featured at Biennale Riviera Del Brenta and Awarded International Prize Canaletto

Chinese artist Fu Wenjun featured at Biennale Riviera del Brenta, which took place from 23 -25 April 2016 at the famous villa of 1500, Villa Valier of Mira, Venice. His conceptual photography Gone with the Wind was invited to be on display. Fu Wenjun was awarded the special award of Biennale "International Prize Canaletto - Artistic Career Award", for his expressed stylistic value and emotional artistic creativity.

The Biennial was conceived and curated by Italian curator Francesco Saverio Russo. More than 150 international artists from around the world, including painters, sculptors and photographers participated and over 200 works were exhibited.

Fu Wenjun was awarded the special award of Biennale “International Prize Canaletto – Artistic Career Award”, for his expressed stylistic value and emotional artistic creativity.

Fu Wenjun has tried to break the technical manifestations of photography ontology, let photographic image deviate from the paper of its carrier by special means, demonstrating the aesthetic elements of painting. Fu Wenjun (1955), Chinese contemporary artist, was born in Chongqing (China). Graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, currently he works on conceptual photography, installation and oil painting. Now he lives and works at Chongqing, China.

He was awarded 1st prize of digital art from 2nd International Biennial of Contemporary Art in Argentina, Tour Eiffel La Grande Exposition Universelle “The Best Artist in the World”, International Award “Lorenzo il Magnifico” of X Florence Biennale and other international art honors.
