Local brewery launches Wookie Growl impersonation contest to celebrate new Star Wars-inspired imperial brown ale

Available year-round and at 7.1-percent alcohol by volume, Dirty Wookie is an American-style imperial brown ale. Deep brown in color, this rich chocolate malt-dominated brown ale has loads of character. Conservatively hopped with northwest hop varietals, this is a big beer leaning toward malt sweetness over hop bitterness.
Wookie Growl Rules:
Submissions will run through Dec. 5. Participants must showcase their best Wookie impersonation and submit a video via Instagram or Facebook using #growlofthewookie #dirtywookie and #brewerscabinet. Six winners will be selected based upon management’s discretion (2 tickets each and 12 tickets total). Management reserves all rights to delete or hide inappropriate submissions.
