America's Warrior Partnership Fills Key Leadership Positions With Military Veterans

Nonprofit continues dedication to empowering veterans to thrive in the workplace, leads by example in encouraging organizations to recruit veterans

America’s Warrior Partnership today announced it has hired two military veterans for key positions within its organization, including Sarah Holzhalb as Director of Marketing and Development, and Patrick Griffith as Operations Manager for Mission Roll Call. These veteran leaders will support the nonprofit’s continuing growth and mission of empowering communities to empower veterans.

“One of the core tenets of our mission is advocating for veterans so their communities and workplaces recognize their capacity and willingness to serve as civic leaders,” said Jim Lorraine, President and CEO of America’s Warrior Partnership. “This is a belief that we hold close to our hearts and we strive to lead by example in recruiting and retaining veterans for key leadership positions. We are excited to welcome Sarah and Patrick to the team and we look forward to learning from their experiences.”

As the Director of Marketing and Development, Holzhalb will oversee programs responsible for empowering community-based organizations with resources to holistically serve local veterans, their families and caregivers. She is a Coast Guard veteran with an extensive background in community development, government relations and public policy engagement. She previously served as Relationships Manager and Corporate Giving Manager at Team Red, White & Blue.

Griffith joins the organization as the Operations Manager of Mission Roll Call, a program of America’s Warrior Partnership dedicated to providing veterans with a powerful, unified voice that is heard by local and national leaders to inform public policy. He is a U.S. Army veteran and previously served as the Southeast Regional Program Manager for Team Red, White & Blue.

America’s Warrior Partnership’s dedication to veterans in the workplace extends to its Corporate Veteran Initiative (CVI), which helps businesses better understand the unique skills and experiences that veterans can contribute to the workplace. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the CVI has worked with corporations to ensure their military veteran employees have resources to facilitate remote work and homeschooling of their children as they comply with stay-at-home policies.
