America's Warrior Partnership and The Warrior Alliance Join Forces to Enhance Military Veteran Support Services in Atlanta
WASHINGTON, January 22, 2018 (Newswire.com) - America’s Warrior Partnership today announced that it is partnering with The Warrior Alliance, a Georgia-based nonprofit organization headquartered in Atlanta, to implement its signature Community Integration service model in the metro-Atlanta area. Building on the two organizations’ shared mission of driving collaboration between veteran service providers, this partnership will ensure veterans receive holistic support both during and after their transition to civilian life.
“Partnering with The Warrior Alliance has been a seamless experience for our organization because their team’s vision aligns with our own,” said Jim Lorraine, president and CEO of America’s Warrior Partnership. “Greater collaboration between existing service providers is an essential component to ensuring no veteran slips through the cracks, and The Warrior Alliance has a thorough understanding of how to bring resources together in the metro-Atlanta area to better serve warriors. We look forward to helping them facilitate even stronger connections between veterans and the resources that can help them improve their quality of life.”

America’s Warrior Partnership’s Community Integration model is active in nine communities across the country and has served more than 38,000 veterans in three years. This model empowers communities through training, mentorship and structure to conduct proactive outreach to veterans by connecting existing resources and providing tools to create stronger collaboration among existing veteran service providers, bridging gaps in service wherever they may exist. The result is a more coordinated approach that holistically serves each veteran’s individual needs and provides them with the opportunity to give back to their communities.
“One of our objectives is to connect and simplify access to services for Atlanta’s warriors, and the resources provided by the Community Integration model will help us conduct more proactive, personalized outreach to veterans in need,” said Scott Johnson, president and executive director of The Warrior Alliance. “Our team is excited to continue working with America’s Warrior Partnership and solving the challenges that veterans face as they reintegrate into their communities.”
In addition to training and resources, America’s Warrior Partnership will provide The Warrior Alliance with WarriorServe®, a secure information system that streamlines the collection and analysis of critical veteran information. This system allows communities to focus on providing a holistic solution for warriors’ needs by giving all service providers in a community an overarching view of the veteran and his or her individual needs.
