American Journalist, Author and Media Strategist Mark Macias is Named to the Forbes Business Council
NEW YORK, December 20, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Forbes Business Council - an invitation-only organization for successful business leaders and entrepreneurs - has announced Mark Macias - founder of MACIAS PR - has been named to the Council.
Macias was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience as a journalist, author, entrepreneur and media strategist. The committee evaluates each member’s business track record and demonstrated industry leadership, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

Macias is a former Executive Producer with NBC and Senior Producer with CBS in New York where he was nominated for five Emmys in the categories: News and Public Affairs, Features, Business Programming, Religious Programming, and Documentary Programming. He won an Emmy with NBC for a consumer story that exposed a weakness in dryers leading to house fires.
Macias founded the public relations agency MACIAS PR in 2009. His agency has since won numerous awards from both marketing peers and journalists, including 2015 PR Consultant Firm of the Year; 2016-2017 Financial PR Firm of the Year; and 2017-2019 Strategic PR Firm of the Year.
