A Positive Year for Weerg, With Results Exceeding Expectations.

The company has decoupled turnover compared to the previous year

...as Venus was born of sea-foam...

Weerg.com, the web platform that offers fully customized 5 axis CNC machining and 3D printing parts online, is preparing to close 2017 with results that far exceed expectations, decoupling the turnover compared to the previous year.

Just 33 percent of the clients are Italians, followed by Germans who represent 24 percent of the portfolio, and many other European and non-EU countries, like Australia which accounts for 5 percent.

Many new things are in schedule for the first semester of 2018, starting with an extra enhancement of the machines.

"All the parts are made at the Marghera (industrial estate close to Venice, Italy). Despite the many installations put in place this year, we have totally saturated our production capacity," commented Matteo Rigamonti, creator of Weerg.

The team of specialized engineers is developing new, even more efficient and user-friendly online estimator versions and an exclusive feature recognition system that will allow more accurate evaluations. "Our mission is to offer a never before seen service," continues Rigamonti. "Customers can have instant and free online quotes for their parts even without registering and make single-part orders or runs, often benefiting from promotions dedicated to customers subscribed to the newsletter. It is a great pleasure to note that those who test the quality of Weerg's works turn out to be loyal customers."

Among the strengths are definitely the quotes provided in real-time by simply uploading your CAD 3D file, deliveries from 3 to 15 working days, quality guaranteed by the leading existing technologies and competitive costs — all with the benefits that only an e-commerce service can guarantee.

The Venetian company was launched on the market less than two years ago, offering online CNC machining amid the applause of some and the perplexity of others. But the orders confirmed Rigamonti's intuition so much that, in a short time, other Hermle C42U mills were needed. Every day about 10,000 files are uploaded on Weerg's online estimate calculator, that convert into hundreds of orders.

A positive result further strengthened by the inclusion of the 3D online printing service with 3 installations of the new HP Jet Fusion 4200, in addition to a huge installation of 5 axis Hermle C42U and Mazak Integrex for CNC machining.
