360 Destination Group Expands on Amelia Island, Adding Two New Members to Their Fernandina Beach Office

In their second year as the only full-service DMC on Amelia Island, 360 Destination Group has expanded the team adding Jennie Carmody and Maggi Calder.

As Amelia Island continues to be a popular, and often new, option for meeting planners, the demand for support continues to rise. “After our first year in operation, it was clear that our clients valued a local presence,” said Joe Fijol, Partner, 360 Destination Group Florida. “Jennie and Maggi bring a range of experience and destination knowledge to the office that will help us continue to raise the bar for meetings experiences.”

Carmody is an honors graduate of the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Event Management.  Most recently a Project Manager with a local event décor company, she has extensive experience in event design, production, and operations as well as knowledge of the destination.  “360DG is known for fresh creative thinking,” said Carmody.  “Their reputation among the local industry is strong and I am excited to develop new ideas that engage groups and exceed planner expectations.”

Previously a part-time member of the 360DG South Florida team, Calder has also worked in event management with real estate and non-profit organizations.   A magna cum laude graduate of Emerson College with a B.A. in Marketing and Public Relations, she has a deep understanding of the importance brand plays in creating unique event concepts.  “My client-side background and  Jennie’s event management experience give us a strong understanding of planner needs,” said Calder. “That combination will enable us to deliver powerful events that are executed with precision.”
