Patrick Egan's New Book 'Patches McStuffy Recycling Pirate' is a Well-Written Children's Tale About an Amazing Pirate and His Plan of Recycling Trash

Recent release "Patches McStuffy Recycling Pirate" from Covenant Books author Patrick Egan is an enjoyable narrative about a wise pirate who comes up with a plan to recycle trash after a heavy storm hits a town.

Patrick Egan, a library media specialist during the day and an adjunct professor at Fairfield University during the night, has completed his new book “Patches McStuffy Recycling Pirate”: an insightful opus about Patches McStuffy, a thoughtful pirate who comes up with recycling to save his town from the trash brought by a great storm.

Patrick writes, “One morning after a wicked storm makes a mess of one small town everyone is upset except one old pirate. This pirate is named Patches McStuffy, and as he looks at the sea of trash all over his front yard, he has a brilliant idea. He realizes that this trash can be recycled and turned into a fortune.

"Patches now wants to grab every recyclable in town as quick as he can. At first, the townspeople think he is crazy when they see him jumping into their garbage bins! They all want to call the police until he offers to recycle their trash for free. The townspeople are happy about this, but little do they realize that Patches McStuffy is becoming rich by recycling their garbage.

"This tale, with its simple message about the benefits of recycling, will appeal to three- to six-year-olds who love garbage trucks and is great for a bedtime story.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Patrick Egan’s new book teaches children the importance of proper garbage segregation and recycling to lower the damage caused by trash to the environment.

Children will also learn the virtues of appreciation and never judging others based on first impressions.

Readers can purchase “Patches McStuffy Recycling Pirate” at bookstores everywhere or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
