With nearly 40 years dedicated to law, Chambers brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and, in particular, to his area of specialization, legal ethics. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in his specialty, Chambers said:

Chambers focuses his practice on helping other lawyers apply the Rules of Professional Conduct to specific situations with an emphasis on preventing ethics issues from becoming problems affecting the lawyer-client relationship, or from becoming grievances or malpractice claims. A graduate of the Mediation Certificate Program at the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center on Dispute Resolution, Chambers works with attorneys to prevent potential issues and communicate ethical advice and guidance.

As a thought leader in his field, Chambers has counseled respected professionals in the legal community. He is a regular contributor to two blogs about legal ethics for Connecticut lawyers, and from that unique position of prominence, he can observe trends and changes in his specialty. He notes:

Chambers has been interested in legal ethics for his entire career. He has been a longtime member of the Connecticut Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics on which he served as Vice Chair for ten years and Chair for four years. He belongs to the American Bar Association Center for Professional Responsibility and APRL, the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. For six years, he served as Counsel to the Grievance Committee of the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
