Victory Nutrition International's Groundbreaking Research Sets New Standard for Enzymes

Groundbreaking scientific research was presented on the effects of N-SorbTM, a novel enzyme formulation, in 11 human volunteers, at the Experimental Biology scientific conference in Chicago [Downs B, Kushner S, Bagchi M, Swaroop A, Bagchi D. Safety and efficacy of a novel KD120 MEC multi-enzyme complex (N-SorbTM) in human volunteers. FASEB J. April 2017, 31:lb312.]. N-SorbTM was shown to provide benefits in subjects experiencing chronic fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, OCD, ADD, GI tract issues and others.

Results of this research represent a departure from the traditional application of enzymes solely for digestive functions. Digestive enzymes are activated in a stomach environment, where the pH ranges between 2 and 5.5. The enzymes in N-SorbTM are activated in body tissues where the pH ranges between 6.5 and 8.5. N-SorbTM utilizes the patent-pending SK713 SLP Prodosome® technology to effect rapid absorption starting in the sublingual mucosa. The benefits of the Prodosome® encapsulated ingredients technology were shown in a published clinical study to promote rapid absorption and positive effects on properties of the blood of human subjects in 5 minutes or less. The effect of VMP35 supplement ingredients encapsulated in a novel Phospholipid Prodosome SK713 SLP nutrient delivery technology observed as a result of changes in properties of live human blood. Functional Foods in Health and Disease 2015; 5(9): 292-303].

Follow-up evaluations of the 11 subjects in the first study are to be reported at the 22nd International Conference, entitled “Functional Foods and Chronic Diseases in Health: Science and Practice,” to be held at Harvard Medical School. The abstract of this original research, entitled “Sustained safety and efficacy of a novel KD120 MEC multi-enzyme complex (N-SorbTM) in human volunteers,” has been accepted and will be presented at this International Conference and Expo on September 22-23, 2017.

The main goal of the conference and expo is to bring together experts in the fields of medicine, biology, and the food industry to discuss functional foods with bioactive compounds as dietary interventions for chronic diseases, as well as for health promotion. This prestigious meeting will attract experts from the food industry, universities, research centers, and related industries from around the world. The N-SorbTM research was sponsored by Victory Nutrition International, Inc.
