"I always liked real estate, so I would invest in a duplex. I bought a commercial building in downtown Hollywood, Florida. And then the music business and the technology began to move very fast. After four or five years of that, I said to myself, ‘you know what, I think it's time for me to change.’ And change is always good, I always welcome change. I thought I could get into real estate. So I went to school."

Mr. Patane was educated in Italy, and then went to work with his father, where he learned the ins and outs of running a successful small business. To this day, he works by the motto he learned in his father's stone quarry: "Work harder and smarter and you will be ahead of the competition." In 1989, after beginning to build his new life in the United States, Mr. Patane earned his real estate license and went to work for companies including Century 21, ERA, and Better Homes & Gardens. He excelled from the start and became a top producer by consistently listing and selling 75-100 properties per year. In 1994, ERA recognized Victor as its Top Gun agent in Broward County, Florida. From 1994 to 1999, Mr. Patane served as chairman for the MLS and Legal Forms Committee for the South Broward Board of Realtors. While working with ERA, he also became President of the ERA Associate Council for Broward County, whose scope was to help other real estate agents within the ERA system and to raise money for MDA by organizing social events for the company.

Around 2003, Mr. Patane started 1st American Group and Investments Realty, Inc. In 2006, he became a real estate coach for the Mike Ferry Organization, where he mentors new agents and brokers.
