TurboPlay Elects Not to Attend E3 2019 - Plans to Connect Directly With Community

TurboPlay Corporation won’t be attending this year’s E3, joining several partners who have also elected not to attend.

E3 2019 is one of the world's biggest and most important video game conferences, currently being held as of this press release. Press conferences began this weekend and will continue through Thursday, June 13.

Citing fears that the show may be in a state of undeniable upheaval, many of the industry's biggest players are choosing alternative ways to connect with their communities.

TurboPlay, a personalized videogames marketplace and staunch supporter of indie developers and the gaming community, also has plans to connect with developers and gamers in more rewarding and meaningful ways.

“We believe there are more engaging, meaningful, and personalized ways to connect with the gaming community. When the E3 format arose as an alternative to CES, it was a welcome change for the gaming industry, who deserved a way to showcase their incredible talent. But with the focus increasingly on the industry titans and AAA content, we feel it has become inaccessible for many indie developers, who frankly deserve more attention. There are amazing games being developed, that nobody knows about. We aim to change that,” said Vince McMullin, President and Founder of TurboPlay.

“We welcome all gamers around the world, to join us on Discord and our Social Media, and be a part of the conversation. And don’t forget to pre-register for the latest news and updates on our website!”
