Toni Glymph-Martin's New Book "Conquering Containment: Breaking Free From Abuse" is a Powerful Story of a Christian Housewife Escaping Twenty-Five Years of Abuse.

"Conquering Containment: Breaking Free from Abuse" from Covenant Books author Toni Glymph-Martin is a stirring true survival story as well as a challenge for all women living in domestic abuse and neglect, empowering them to question society's beliefs on the duty of a Christian wife in response to an abusive husband, and instead expose Satan's scheme and allow the truth to set them free.

Toni Glymph-Martin, a mother, grandmother, and living testament who has volunteered thirteen years ministering to other women survivors and now lives with her husband in Westchester, Illinois, has completed her new book, “Conquering Containment: Breaking Free from Abuse”:  an inspiring story of the power of truth to set the captives free.

Toni shares, “To contain means ‘to hold in; to keep within fixed limits; to control, check or halt; to prevent from advancing or making a successful attack; a process which prevents the expansion of a hostile power or ideology.’ In other words, containment, whether spiritual, natural, or constructed, confines you within a defined boundary (not defined by you). For the believer, Satan’s goal is to render you ineffective. If he can hold you in, keep you within fixed limits, control and check or halt you, he will be able to prevent you from advancing and making a successful attack against the kingdom of darkness. Satan has a plan to contain you.

Contrary to popular belief, we do little damage to the kingdom of darkness when we keep busy ‘taking back what the devil has stolen.’ He will continue to steal from you as long as he can keep you occupied with ‘taking it back.’ It’s simple mathematics. If Satan takes something from you and you take it back, what is the net gain? Zero! You are not moving forward; you are being contained!”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Toni Glymph-Martin’s new book is an honest and heartfelt confrontation, challenging of the containment many women unwittingly live in for lack of guidance and self-respect.

With gentle compassion and firm wisdom, Glymph-Martin opens reader’s eyes to the reality of their situation and the heavenly source of their hope and strength, which is the first step to freedom.
