ThingLogix Provides IoT Consulting Services and Tools for Cloud AWS Clients

ThingLogix, an IoT Consulting Firm, Introduces an IoT Management Toolset for AWS

ThingLogix, an Internet of Things consulting agency, has announced the launch of ThingLogix Foundry, its new IoT management toolset and framework.

ThingLogix Foundry is an architected solution for connecting IoT devices within a business context, allowing users to manage their technology assets from one centralized toolset. ThingLogix Foundry connects with third-party solutions including Salesforce, ServiceMax, and Amazon Web Services and also features add-on services such as metering and billing services and proximity technology.

"Through our ThingLogix Foundry framework, we are uniquely enabling customers to quickly and efficiently build robust IoT systems in the cloud with AWS as a core component."

Carl Krupitzer, CEO, ThingLogix

ThingLogix Foundry consists of three main components: The Asset Manager is a management framework that stores relevant business information, technical information, and the information about a device. The Business Logic Manager is a business process framework which allows customers to develop and deploy application and business logic, taking advantage of the live data stream from a device deployment. Orchestration manages complex application components across multiple platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, ServiceMax, or on-premise architectures.

ThingLogix Foundry also includes Proximity Manager for managing rules associated with proximity technology devices such as Bluetooth LE technology, and Metering Manager, which enables usage-based metering combined with pricing, invoicing and payment rules that are defined in the application.

“AWS provides great capabilities for IoT adoption within the Enterprise. As the growth in cloud services continues to evolve, ThingLogix is helping clients quickly and efficiently achieve their business objectives for IoT in the cloud,” says Carl Krupitzer, CEO of ThingLogix. “Through our ThingLogix Foundry framework, we are uniquely enabling customers to quickly and efficiently build robust IoT systems in the cloud with AWS as a core component.”

ThingLogix Foundry is already in use by several AWS clients, including SealedAir, a packaging, food hygiene, and cleaning supplies company. SealedAir used ThingLogix Foundry to derive new insights from the IoT data they received from business assets including connected soap dispensers in their commercial cleaning clients’ restrooms, and was able to use that data to automate operations and streamline costs.

ThingLogix is a sponsor of the AWS re:Invent conference, and will offer a product demo of ThingLogix Foundry in the conference's exhibition hall. The conference will be held from October 6th to 9th in Las Vegas, Nevada. ThingLogix will be stationed at booth 1055.
