Southern Spring Farm Commences Summer Polo Season This Friday

Polo field launches season as Saint Louis area's latest public sporting venue

The Southern Spring Farm & Polo Club in Eureka, Missouri, has announced the first series commencement of its 2017 summer polo season. The club will host four polo matches featuring various teams throughout the world. The Polo matches will take place very Friday starting June 9 for four consecutive weeks.

The season opener hosts two Saint Louis-sponsored teams. Kraftig will face Mid America Logistics, both of which sponsor professional players from all over the world for its respective Polo Clubs. The remaining matches will host various teams and players from various parts of the globe with a spectator capacity of 2,000.

"The field is ready. The grass has been meticulously tended and has the perfect stance for our first full season," stated Southern Spring owner Justin Baisch. "Our goal was to bring Polo to the community in a way that makes it accessible to everyone."

The first event will take place this Friday, June 9 at Southern Spring Farm at 2550 Highway FF in Eureka. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with the match starting at 6 p.m. Admission of $10 for adults over 15 years of age. Children under 15 are admitted at no charge. The event includes a petting zoo, food trucks and vending. Parking is free of charge for General Admission tickets. Southern Spring also offers VIP packages including Tailgate Parking pass which includes all attendees in the car with field-side parking for $50 or a VIP Tent package for $100.
