Reynold Conger's New Book, "Stoned for His Faith" is an Awe-Inspiring Story of a Pastor Who Chooses to Forgive His Attackers Even Though They Have Violently Harmed Him.

Recent release "Stoned for His Faith" from Covenant Books author Reynold Conger is a compelling story about Pastor Randy Koenig and his merciful heart, forgiving a Muslim mullah and his men who have attacked him and praying for them.

Reynold Conger, a retired scientist and teacher who writes fiction from a Christian perspective, has completed his new book, “Stoned for His Faith”:  a touching book on a pastor who loves his enemies, shows mercy to them, and treats them and their relatives with compassion—even if he is subjected to the violence they have caused.

One of the characters says, “The church is the bride of Christ. In that role, Christians should become helpmeets of Jesus. The Kingdom of God does not advance unless and until Christians recognize their roles as helpmeets. Look for the jobs in your church that are not being done. Perhaps one of them is your niche. Look for ways to help some of the struggling churches around you. How many struggling churches in the metropolitan area could use your encouragement and even your help? Offer to sing a solo for them or help with their VBS. I am told that over three thousand Baptist churches close their doors each year, mostly because of a lack of preachers. We need people to respond to the call to preach, and we need some of these preachers to become circuit riders. Too many young preachers think it is enough to find one church where they can serve comfortably. What has happened with our ancient tradition of circuit riders? My great-grandfather used to serve ten churches.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Reynold Conger’s new book is a gripping story of a pastor that have faith, courage, and forgiveness as the main themes, serving as an encouragement to all Christians to show compassion to those who have different faith from theirs.

Once a Christian chooses to treat his or her enemies with love instead of hatred, it can be this act that will bring them to God. The book teaches believers that being kind to unbelievers is also part of effective ministering.

Readers can purchase “Stoned for His Faith” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Kobo, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
