Randall A. Wolter Has Been Recognized Among the Top in His Industry by the Expert Network©

The Expert Network celebrates its newest member, Attorney Randall A. Wolter

Randall A. Wolter, Partner, Wolter, Beeman, Lynch & Londrigan, LLP, has joined The Expert Network©, an invitation-only service for distinguished professionals. Mr. Wolter has been chosen as a Distinguished Lawyer™ based on peer reviews and ratings, dozens of recognitions, and accomplishments achieved throughout his career.

Mr. Wolter outshines others in his field due to his extensive educational background, numerous awards and recognitions, and career longevity. Today an Illinois Super Lawyers® top-rated lawyer, Mr. Wolter earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Illinois School of Law and his M.B.A. at the University of Chicago School of Business. Mr. Wolter then served in many prominent positions for organizations ranging from Trans Union Corporation and Continental Bank to Director of the Commission for Economic Development for Illinois. Since returning to private practice in 1981, Mr. Wolter has obtained over $60 million for his clients who were injured at no fault of their own and has earned recognition from Leading Lawyers℠, Martindale-Hubbell®, and the American Society of Legal Advocates, among many others.

There are bills that are pending all the time. For example, at the federal level HR 1215, a comprehensive health care measure that caps noneconomic damages, eliminates joint liability for economic and noneconomic loss, and makes it more difficult to hold wrongdoers accountable in medical negligence, nursing home, and drug and device cases, has passed the house. The state bar, the American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association continually provide information in support of an independent judiciary and a strong jury system. I am a member of those organizations.

With nearly 45 years of experience dedicated to law, Mr. Wolter brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and, in particular, to his area of specialization, personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation law. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in law, Mr. Wolter said:

"My father had two uncles who were lawyers and I really enjoyed their stories. I decided early on that I wanted to follow in their footsteps."

As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Wolter keeps his eye on prevailing trends within personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation law. In particular, he makes sure to stay up to date on potential federal and state changes. He noted:

"There are bills that are pending all the time regarding things such as capping legal fees and/or non-economic damages. Another perennial favorite, captioned the 'Savings Lives, Savings Costs Act,' has returned as HR 1565. It would give doctors broad immunity if they follow certain guidelines, which would be developed by medical organizations. A one size fits all guideline would replace doctors’ judgement, potentially leading them to treat all patients with a set of generalized recommendations that fail to keep pace with rapidly changing medical technology. The state bar, the American Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association continually provide information in support of an independent judiciary and a strong jury system. I am a member of those organizations."

Outside of his thriving practice, Mr. Wolter is highly active in his local community. He has served on the boards and as President of numerous organizations, including the Sangamon County Development Corporation, the American Cancer Society, Railsplitters Sertoma, Lincolnfest, Inc., Family Service Center and Big Brother/Big Sister.
