PST Operations Are Enhanced While Copying Bulk of MapiMessages

Saaspose team is pleased to announce the new release of Aspose.Email for Java 2.4.0. This month's release addresses a number of important bug fixes related to PST operations that were observed while copying bulk of MapiMessages from one PST to another; and extraction of MapiCalendar items from a PST. In addition, issues with recurrence rules of Appointmnet/Meeting objects have now been fixed as well in this new version. The main improved features and bug fixes added in this release are listed below
• Application crashed when meeting reply loaded into MapiMessage - .NET
• LinkedResource has no Name
• Application crashed when meeting reply loaded into MapiMessage - .NET
• Trying to load a mailmessage into mapimessage resuls in Object reference not set to an instance of an object
• Exceptions raised when bulk of MapiMessages copied from one PST to another PST
• System.FormatExceptionException: The specified content type is invalid.
• System.ArgumentException: '5601' is not a supported encoding name
• Calendar appointment stripped off from Appointment message
• Recurrence rule in ICS not followed properly by Aspose.Email
• Reading EML-File Creates empty Attachments
• Attachment File Name Corruption
• Recurrences in MapiCalendar (.ics) extracted from PST not handled properly by Aspose.Email
• Appointment file (.ics) created by Aspose.Email for Java cannot be loaded using Appointment class

Overview: Aspose.Email for Java
Aspose.Email for Java is a Non-Graphical Java component that enables Java applications to read and write MS Outlook MSG files from within a Java application without using MS Outlook. It enables developers to create new MSG file from scratch, update an existing MSG file, read Outlook MSG file & get its properties like subject, body, recipients in to, cc and bcc, adding or removing attachment, sender information & MAPI properties. Aspose.Email can be used with Web as well as Desktop Application.
