Pagos Announces the Release of SpreadsheetWEB 6.0 - Introducing the Designer Module
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., November 7, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Pagos, a leading IT solutions company, today announced that it has released the 6.0 version of SpreadsheetWEB. Introducing the all new designer module, this is one of the biggest updates the software has ever seen.
Many Excel models are the product of considerable time and experience. SpreadsheetWEB has been allowing business users to tap into these resources, and transform their spreadsheets into web applications with database and workflow support. Even the most complex workbooks can be pushed to the web with a workflow surrounding the application.
6.0 is our most important release to-date. We have introduced a completely new way of creating web applications from spreadsheets. As opposed to our legacy conversion approach, the designer allows users to create their user interface through a user-friendly drag-and-drop web interface.

In its most comprehensive update yet, SpreadsheetWEB now has a designer module that features a drag-and-drop style application builder. Accessible directly from the SpreadsheetWEB control panel, web applications created with this module adapt to the screen properties of the end user, while allowing for far more customization options than the software’s traditional conversion method.
Another big update in this version is the enhanced spreadsheet calculation engine. The underlying calculation engine has seen significant improvements that resulted in major performance and memory management gains. The revised engine also adds support for new Excel formulas.
“6.0 is our most important release to-date. We have introduced a completely new way of creating web applications from spreadsheets. As opposed to our legacy conversion approach, the designer allows users to create their user interface through a user- friendly drag-and-drop web interface. This makes the user interface completely decoupled from the underlying spreadsheet and allows for responsive design,” says Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos. ”We believe the Designer will further empower our users to transform their spreadsheets into powerful web applications without any programming.”
