NVNA and Hospice 12th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Plans Underway
Online, June 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Norwell, Mass - June 8, 2010 - NVNA and Hospice is excited to announce that plans are well underway for its 12th annual Charity Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, July 26, 2010. The event, to be held in a new location this year, Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Mass., is gaining momentum as sponsors and attendees continue to sign on for this coveted event. Golfers and patrons are invited to enjoy Indian Pond's championship course as well as a gala dinner and silent auction with all proceeds to support important community service and education programs for area patients and caregivers on Boston's South Shore.
The tournament committee, co-chaired by David Barcomb of Merrill Lynch, and Jason Ward of Foxrock Properties, includes many dedicated patrons who help with the tournament each year. The committee continues to accept major and corporate sponsors, with levels ranging from $15,000 as a Presenting Sponsor to $500 as a Tee Sponsor. There are still sponsorship opportunities available including program ads, which run $100-$500. Major sponsors include Apothecare South Shore, BCBS of MA, Cadillac of Norwood, Enos Home Oxygen and Medical Supply, Merrill Lynch, Olden's Pharmacy, Queen Anne Nursing Home, Rockland Trust, Visiting Angels of the South Shore and Therap-Ease.
Additionally, the committee is working to obtain items for its silent and live auction in addition to the ever-popular raffle items. The coveted top-raffle prize includes a one-week stay in a 3-bedroom club home at the historic Homestead Resort, including roundtrip airfare and car rental. Raffle tickets are priced at $20 each or a book of 6 for $100. Other exciting prizes include golf packages, Red Sox tickets, and hotel overnights. Cadillac Village of Norwood will provide a Cadillac CTS as the hole in one prize.

• Entry fee: $200 per player, includes: lunch, 18 holes of golf with cart, dinner, hors d'oeuvres, a generous gift bag, and a commemorative foursome photo.
