New Haven Welcomes Downtown Police Substation
Online, February 6, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Gregory J. Pepe, an active supporter of the New Haven community, participated in the ribbon-cutting for the New Haven Downtown Police Substation. More than two years in the making, the new police substation is a unique collaboration between the New Haven Police Department, Yale University and the New Haven Town Green Special Services District. Greg Pepe attended the ribbon-cutting as board chairman of the Town Green Special Services district. He is also a business owner in the Town Green Business Improvement District. The Special Services District, funded by a surtax on property in downtown New Haven, strives to improve ownership values by making downtown New Haven a clean, safe and prosperous urban environment.
Founder and president of the law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, attorney Greg Pepe's office, located at 195 Church Street, overlooks the New Haven town green. "The central business district in New Haven is the heart of the engine for commerce," stated Pepe.
