Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. Employees Bowl to End Domestic Violence

Bow 2 Benefit The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services is a Striking Success

Employees of the New Haven Connecticut law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. and their families participated in the Bowl 2 Benefit The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services at BHcare held at the Milford AMF Lanes. This is the fourth consecutive year that Neubert, Pepe & Monteith has been a sponsor for The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services fundraising event.

Every 9 seconds, a woman is battered in the United States, as noted by The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services. The Center provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, court advocacy and support services to over 7,000 victims and their children each year. Lisa Barbour, a legal assistant at the firm and organizer of Team Neubert, Pepe & Monteith states, "It is our firm belief that violence in any form should not be condoned or tolerated. The event is an opportunity to raise awareness of a significant issue and support the Center's much needed services."

The crescendo of expertly released bowling balls striking all ten pins joined whispered urgings to gently tossed balls inching their way down the lane. Team Neubert, Pepe & Monteith joined over twenty other sponsors and approximately 1,200 other bowlers for a lively day of fun and fundraising.
