She reached behind her head for a moment, felt for the remote control, and turned on the TV. The damp, dreary day beyond the blinds on the front double window was doing nothing to improve her mood.
Her long legs poked around; found their way beneath a tan, velvety blanket; and became still. Kendra had always been tall for her age and was tall as the twenty-one-year-old she had now become.
