Las Vegas Dentists Take on Tough Mudder Obstacle Course

Online, May 31, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Proving that with a determined team anything is possible, the staff of Boston Dental Group competed in the 2013 Tough Mudder in Las Vegas. Often heralded as the most difficult endurance event in the world, the Tough Mudder was created by British Special Forces to test the physical and mental strength of its participants. Completing the 12-mile long obstacle course, Team BDG showed extreme determination and worked together to achieve their goal.

Fighting through underwater tunnels, shocking electrical wires and gallons of muddy water, Team BDG worked as a team and helped each other reach the finish line. With fatigue and pain settling in, the battle to complete the race became more difficult with each new hurdle. Exhausted and bruised, Team BDG survived and grew closer together through a shared sense of accomplishment.

"I think from that experience it kind of brought the whole office together," said Dr. Chung. Showcasing camaraderie among his office, Dr. Chung led his staff through exhausting challenges to reach the end of the course.

"When you go through things together, whether it's fun or difficult, you gain an appreciation for one another," said Johnny Morales, director of leadership development. Morales emphasized the importance of a trustworthy team, both in the office and on the obstacle course.
