Joining the "Brain Chain": Sera-Brynn Signs Agreement With DHS Cybersecurity Lab to Build Knowledge on Cyber Threats

U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Sera-Brynn, a global cyber risk management firm, establish cooperative agreement to accelerate information sharing.

Sera-Brynn, LLC, a FedRAMP-authorized assessor and cyber risk management firm, has entered a two-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the National Protection and Programs Directorate Office of Cybersecurity and Communications, a Federal cybersecurity and communications laboratory entity within the Department of Homeland Security.

The purpose of this CRADA is to accelerate the exchange of information and knowledge on emerging cybersecurity threats, cybersecurity, and communications.

Rob Hegedus, CEO of Sera-Brynn states, “Sera-Brynn enthusiastically views this agreement with DHS as an opportunity to contribute to our Nation’s security, as well as a way to further our capabilities in cyber risk management.”

A CRADA is an agreement between a selected non-Federal organization and a Federal Lab to conduct mutually beneficial research and development.  Sera-Brynn and DHS will now be able to exchange information in order to enhance the protection of critical infrastructure and government networks and systems that are vital to National security and the Nation’s economy.
