ISSSP Announces March Webinar: Lean Six Sigma and Nonprofit Organizations

International Society of Six Sigma Professionals

While Lean Six Sigma methods have been proven to be effective in corporations and businesses, just how does this discipline apply in the nonprofit world? This topic will be explored in an upcoming webinar, “Applying Lean Six Sigma to Nonprofit Organizations,” taking place Wednesday, March 25 at 2 p.m. CT.

Presented by the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals (ISSSP), the webinar will discuss how nonprofits use Lean Six Sigma as a way to maximize the positive impact on society with the resources and funding available. The presentation will also outline several best practices in process improvement and how volunteering can be helpful for career development.

The webinar will be hosted by Brion Hurley, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Business Performance Improvement and author of the “Lean Six Sigma for Good” book series. He facilitates workshops and events, performs statistical analysis, and mentors employees through improvement efforts. He is focused on teaching Lean and Six Sigma concepts to sustainable businesses in the Pacific Northwest to help them reduce their impact on the environment. He also volunteers his time with Lean Portland as the Community Consultant Lead, managing and leading multiple nonprofit improvement projects.

ISSSP is the leading Six Sigma non-profit organization, providing educational and networking resources for its members. Members can access past presentations, white papers, case studies, and webinars by leading Six Sigma experts and renowned leaders.
