Robin Joy Meyers is a highly sought-after TEDx Speaker, as well as a Fear Strategist, Author and Molecular Geneticist. She is also the founder of Navigate2Empower, where she educates and empowers women to find and use their own voices to create their best lives. Through coaching, workshops and speaking engagements, she uses science-based strategies and techniques to help other women find success in their personal and professional lives.
“It’s my mission to empower women to give themselves permission to speak their authentic truth, meeting fear as an opportunity for growth, valuing times of transition as occasions to step more fully into their power, and activating the bold choices that will help them create the life they want,” Ms. Meyers said.
At the IAW Washington DC Chapter event in December, Ms. Meyers presented The Power of Being a Solopreneur. She generously shared her own inspiring, vulnerable journey from isolation and hiding, to trusting who she is in the world. “Fear is real and is not a choice,” she told members. “What is a choice is how we approach fear and use it to our advantage.”
Led by Chapter President Dr. LaVerne Adams, The IAW Washington DC Chapter meets the second Thursday of every month. The Chapter provides a valuable forum to promote members’ businesses, products or services, and to share ideas, experiences and resources.
