Tina Nguyen, President of GTC Brokerage, joins networking organization

The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Tina Nguyen as a 2018-2019 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in business. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US-based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

“I’m pleased to welcome Tina into this exceptional group of professional women,” said IPDN President and IAW Spokesperson Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”

My strengths are in business development. I can speak to anyone, anywhere, any time. I am not afraid to pick up the phone and dial a lead or meet someone face to face to discuss business opportunities.

Tina Nguyen, President of GTC Brokerage

When Tina Nguyen graduated from college in 2001, it was during the dot.com bust and right before 9/11, but that didn’t stop her from forging ahead in a highly successful career in commercial banking. But a few years ago, she knew she was ready for a change. “It’s been over 20 years, and I started my own business from the network I grew throughout my banking career,” she said. “I was quite mature in the banking business, and I wanted to take on another challenge.”

Since many of her family members were in the real estate business, Ms. Nguyen was inspired to follow that path and founded GTC Brokerage two and a half years ago. Headquartered in Sacramento, CA, the company specializes in buying, selling and leasing properties, residential mortgages, and commercial lending.

In her role as President, Ms. Nguyen uses her expertise in leadership, communication, and negotiation as she leads a team of real estate professionals and oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. “My strengths are in business development,” she said. “I can speak to anyone, anywhere, any time. I am not afraid to pick up the phone and dial a lead or meet someone face to face to discuss business opportunities.”

As she works to build a team of people who share the same goals, Ms. Nguyen looks forward to growing her business and empowering other women, including those she works with as well as her clients.
