International Association of Women Recognizes Tanya Smith as a 2019-2020 Influencer

Tanya Smith, Founder & CEO of Life In Quarters™, joins networking organization

​​​The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Tanya Smith as a 2019-2020 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US-based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

Self-motivated and results driven to succeed, Tanya Smith is a seasoned professional who has constantly set her goals to keep pace with her highest aspirations for personal excellence. Throughout her military and civilian careers, she has exhibited exemplary teamwork, expertise, integrity and dedication.

Recently retired from the US Army after nearly 25 years of service to the country, Ms. Smith is Founder and CEO of Life In Quarters™, a leadership and development training consultancy. Using the leadership and communication skills she honed in the military along with her work as a speaker, coach and trainer with John Maxwell, Ms. Smith works with clients to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.

Ms. Smith’s experience in the military included working as a Silent Warrior with the military intelligence branch, deployment to Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq, and serving as Command Language Program Manager with the Army’s largest foreign language unit. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University as well as a number of certifications, including the University of Pennsylvania’s Master Resiliency Trainer Certificate program and Cornell’s Executive Leadership Certificate programs in High Performance Leadership and Executive Leadership.
