International Association of Women Recognizes Melvina Johnson as a 2020-2021 Influencer

CHICAGO, May 5, 2020 (Newswire.com) - The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Melvina Johnson as a 2020-2021 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. What started out as a side job, preparing the tax returns of family and friends, eventually turned into a full-time career for Melvina Johnson. “I was good at it, and I was making good side money while working my full-time job,” she said. “That pushed me to want to learn more about the industry to the point of wanting to learn and do more complex returns such as corporate, estates and partnerships.”

Ms. Johnson founded M. Johnson Tax Service Inc. more than 28 years ago. As Owner, President and CEO, she manages the day-to-day operations of the business using her expert skills in business/process development, organizational structuring, time management and administration. She also acts as a Financial Advisor, offering consulting and business services.

As for her future, Ms. Johnson is working on obtaining her certification as a Financial Advisor and is also studying for her real estate license. Her ultimate goal is to make M. Johnson Tax Service Inc. a world-class tax and bookkeeping company that prides itself in innovation, transparency and accountability. “I'm also looking into opening up an upscale cigar smoke lounge/restaurant, and I am currently working on a business plan and funding,” she added.
