International Association of Women Recognizes Leslie Crudup as a 2020-2021 Influencer

Leslie Crudup, Owner of Crudup Diversity Strategies, joins networking organization

The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Leslie Crudup as a 2020-2021 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with more than 100 local chapters, International Chapters and 1000+ in-person and virtual events.

Leslie Crudup began her career in marketing. As someone who had an affinity to teach, she became a successful Marketing and Business Coach. But she knew she wanted to do more.

“I decided to look within myself for transformation,” she said. “I learned I needed to work more from the inside out to even begin to help someone else. My inspirations are Lisa Nichols and Brene Brown for starters. My vision is that every person I encounter comes to know their own ‘extraordinary gene’ (to be trademarked). Each individual is brilliant, and identifying where I am in that discovery helps someone else discover theirs. That is my ultimate hope.”

Recently, Ms. Crudup founded Crudup Diversity Strategies. “As a Transformational Coach, I provide one-on-one counseling and coaching for individuals looking to come closer to their own identity and purpose,” she said. In addition to her Certification in Diversity and Inclusion from eCornell, Ms. Crudup is enrolled in the Health Coach Institute, working toward an accredited certification. The program she wants to roll out—The BeaExtraordinary Gene—was a revelation after the recent passing of her mother Beatrice Webb. It is designed as a transformational coaching program that empowers people to become the best version of themselves.

Although the isolation brought about by the current pandemic has been challenging, Ms. Crudup said it has been instrumental in helping her to further her studies and work on her own personal journey of self-discovery. “I am learning about the importance of self-awareness, mental health, gratitude and forgiveness,” she said. Ms. Crudup is currently writing on a book about her journey with her mother and one about forgiveness and the journey to resolution.
