Kathleen Myers started out in her professional life working in the banking industry but eventually transitioned to insurance, a field she felt offered her the opportunity to continue her work when it came to helping others. “I knew I wanted to keep helping and educating people about products that would protect them and their families,” Ms. Myers said. “Insurance was the perfect fit.”

Recently, Ms. Myers joined Allstate Brian Ligon’s Agency, which is located in Sparks, NV. As a Licensed Sales Producer, she advises clients about the products, including auto, home and life insurance, that work best for them. “I am what you call a trusted advisor as that is what I do,” she said. “I review our clients’ current coverage and find any gaps and make suggestions that are sensible for them and their families in case of an event that will change their lives.”

Crediting her banking career with providing her with extensive training as well as mentoring by a number of women, Ms. Myers knows the importance of providing clients with the right information and resources. “Just as in banking, people need to be in the know about exactly what they have and what can benefit them now and in the future,” she said. “I find it so rewarding when I have given clients the opportunity to make dedicated decisions about their future.”
