International Association of Women Recognizes Dr. Julie Grace as a 2018-2019 Influencer

Chicago, November 27, 2018 (Newswire.com) - ​The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Dr. Julie Grace as a 2018-2019 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in health and wellness. Julie Grace is a Naprapathic Doctor and the Owner of Sol Wellness, LLC, an integrative wellness facility located in Santa Fe, NM, which she opened three years ago. “At Sol Wellness, I have combined a team of professional complementary and alternative medical practitioners to address the health and wellness needs within our community,” Dr. Grace said. “We are in the business of educating and empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves through manual medicine, nutritional counseling and exercise science.”

In her role as a naprapathic healer, Dr. Grace treats her patients through manual therapies, administers nutritional counseling and lifestyle coaching, and refers patients to other providers for care. As Owner, she also is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic, handling everything from marketing to insurance to training. “The most valuable skill I have had to develop in business is resourcefulness," she added. “There are times that one does not have the resources necessary to get a job done, but with some creativity and resourcefulness, I have been able to do what others have deemed impossible.”

Passionate about giving back to the community, Dr. Grace started Sol Sundays, a yearly event where Sol Wellness will offer free wellness-related music, yoga, exercise classes, treatments and education to local residents.

One of Dr. Grace’s other passions is bringing people together through music. As a young woman, she was inspired by the work of young artists in the community who organized and participated in music-related events, as well as by her grandfather, a leader in the Santa Fe community, and others. To realize her dream of creating a place where people can gather for healing through music, Dr. Grace is currently working with a partner to establish Remix Audio Bar.

“This business will not only be a coffee shop but a place where people can experience their love of music to change their state and inspire them when they come into the space,” she explained.  “It will offer medicinal adaptogenic teas and herbal tonics to promote wellness and add value to the individuals who are looking for a place of membership and connection through music.”

Although running a business can be challenging, Dr. Grace enjoys working with others and learning how to better manage, understand and nurture her employees. “Business truly is a spiritual journey where one is able to grow and contribute to the growth of others at the same time,” she said. “Sol Wellness is an all-women company and I am passionate about supporting fellow women business owners. It has become a business incubator of sorts where any woman who works with us is encouraged and supported in starting her own business though Sol Wellness.”

“My future goals are to grow Sol Wellness, to create a worldwide movement of health and wellness as a fun lifestyle, to provide resources and education on a greater level to as many people as possible and to use the abundance our company generates to create access to health and wellness services in under-served and rural areas.” Dr. Grace said. She also looks forward to expanding Remix Audio Bar into a franchise. “I hope to spread the inspiration and create several hubs where people can elevate their state of being in a healthy and sustainable way,” she added.
