International Association of Women Recognizes Alexis Smith as a 2020-2021 Influencer

Alexis Smith, Founder of Women Taking Authority, joins networking organization

The International Association of Women (IAW) recognizes Alexis Smith as a 2020-2021 Influencer. She is acknowledged as a leader in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with more than 100 local chapters, International Chapters and 1000+ in person and virtual events.

Alexis Smith is the Founder of womentakingauthority.com ​, where she empowers women to take control of their personal wellness, family relationships and business connections.

“Women Taking Authority is a ministry born out of a need to educate, empower and inspire women through the word of God,” said Ms. Smith, who is an Ordained Minister. “For over 25 years, I've served in ministry to both women and children, teaching them principles for living victoriously through the word of God.”

Ms. Smith is also an Author, Speaker and Certified John Maxwell Life Coach and Business Coach. “I am blessed to be used by God to empower others to succeed in their personal lives and their relationships with family and business,” she said. Ms. Smith has written a number of children’s books, including, Bumble Bee, How Did You Get Your Stripes?, which promotes diversity appreciation. Her self-help books include, A Christian Woman’s Guide to Finding Prince Charming and Keeping the Toads Away!
