Sandy Rosenthal was going to be downsized out of a job, so when her boss asked if she wanted to take on the role of Facilities Manager, she immediately said ‘Yes!” It didn’t matter that she had no idea what a Facilities Manager does, she just knew she needed a job and figured her boss wouldn’t have asked her if she didn’t think she could do it.

“Facilities at the time was a male-dominated field,” she says on her website. “I had no experience and I did not know what the job description was. I persevered by never giving up, believing in myself, trusting others, and always keeping to my integrity, while learning from my many failures.”

After a highly successful career in a field, she initially knew nothing about, Ms. Rosenthal now coaches other professional women. As the Founder of Human Doers, she works with women who may be facing a layoff, find themselves in a dead-end job or are struggling to advance in a male-dominated field.

A graduate of the Cor Coaching Academy, Ms. Rosenthal uses the Creative Insight Journey method or CI Journey. This eight-week, online course based on Stanford University Masters’ degree course in creativity in business. Using this methodology, Ms. Rosenthal helps clients gain confidence, develop stronger relationships, increase productivity and improve their listening skills.
