Kavita Julka, Paraprofessional

Kavita Julka was inspired by her mother to pursue a career in education. “My mom, Mrs. Renuka Julka, is a teacher and I have been highly inspired by her dedication, discipline, and duties being a teacher and as a mom,” she said. “She is a highly motivated woman and has managed her personal and professional lives very well.”

A dedicated Teacher herself, Ms. Julka takes great pride in working with children and helping them to succeed. As a Paraprofessional, she works with special needs children, where she uses her skills to work side by side with other teachers as they support and encourage their students. “Paraeducators have become the extra pair of hands that allow teachers to truly support and make a difference for every student,” she said.

In addition to her work as a Teacher and Paraprofessional, Ms. Julka is also a Holistic Healer Practitioner who helps to heal and empower women who are victims of domestic violence or other abuse. In all of her work, Ms. Julka is rewarded when she is able to use her gifts to help meet the needs of children and women despite the challenges and negativity she sometimes faces.

“My goal is to make this world a better place full of love, compassion, positivity, and kindness for the children with special needs, for upcoming generations and for women who are victims of domestic violence, or are ill-treated or abused,” she added.
