Increase Your Samsung S6 Security With Android VPN

The Android VPN can be used to cut down the security flaws in new Samsung devices

Hong Kong: The new Samsung S6 was the Android phone of 2015, and has set high standards for Android users. But recent leaks about security flaws in the Samsung Galaxy series have not only put millions of Android users’ privacy at risk, but have also exposed Android’s obsession with replicating Apple’s features; rather than proactively concentrating on resolving masked security weaknesses.

Humayoun Ahmed Khan, the lead researcher and online security expert at VPNRanks.com stated that “Illinois based NowSecure recently published a report confirming that almost 600 million Samsung Galaxy phones are at risk. There is a bug in the uninstallable Swift keyboard software that comes pre-installed in all Samsung Galaxy devices. The security flaw gives hackers remote access to the device's sensors, GPS, camera, microphone, messages, phone book, and gallery.”

Samsung's Galaxy series is a favorite amongst Android fans, but has recently spiked searches in Android VPN as a result of security weakness in the built-in Swift keyboard. Samsung is busy working on patches for the Galaxy series as Android resort to cheap VPN services to ensure security from current and covert weaknesses in the Android OS

Amongst other recommendations, NowSecure asked Samsung Galaxy users to refrain from connecting with unprotected WiFi connections in order to avoid falling victim to the built-in malware threat. Mr. Khan explains that this is not the first time that Android devices have been exposed for vulnerability to security threats from the unsecured public WiFi HotSpots.

Khan confirmed that searches for Android VPN saw a spike on VPNRanks after a video of the Samsung Keyboard exploit came out; stating that “Concealed Android security threats pose a clear and present danger. Tools such as the recently overhauled and re-priced PureVPN Android App can provide users the comprehensive and cheap VPN solutions that secure data while saving time and money.”

Android devices are compatible with third-party VPN apps manually and also come built-in with the option to setup and configure VPN tunnels. Security experts at VPNRanks.com recommend installing a cheap VPN for Samsung Galaxy phones to secure data transmissions at all times – thereby ensuring protection from the recently exposed Samsung Keyboard exploit and all those that are yet to be revealed.
