Iconic Ska-Fusion Mexican Band PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ Releases 20th Anniversary CD+DVD: "XX Y Queremos Más"

Los Angeles, CA, June 30, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Almost a year after celebrating the great concert of their XX years of uninterrupted trajectory and of their “Y Queremos Más” [And We Want More] anniversary tour, PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ, one of Latin America’s iconic ska-fusion bands, captured on a recorded DVD+CD the day July 4 of 2015, in the ARENA CDMX, which was the festivity that achieved a record attendance of more than 20,000 fans, showing that the group’s path is still long and does not plan to stop anytime soon.
Many remember PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ’s first shows on the campus of the University of Mexico like it was yesterday; those enormous dances where all the attendees seemed to enter a trance to the rhythm of SKA. Dust clouds were generated by constant slam circles in each of their shows. Fast forward to two decades of history later, the Mexican combo has traveled much of the world with their music in incredible tours, successfully putting their country’s name at the top of the music industry.
With a production up to the celebration’s expectations, they performed all their hits together with great guests like Oscar Chavez, Paco Familiar (DLD), Maria Barracuda (JOT DOG), Denisse Gutierrez (HELLO SEAHORSE!), Jose Manuel Aguilera and Too Lira. The first single of this material is FUGAZ accompanied by one of the greatest figures of Mexican rock, Ruben AlbarranALBARRAN of CAFÉ TACVBA, where they gave us a “taste” of what will be on the live DVD.
With this DVD, that is now available in both Mexico and the U.S., fans who attended the concert can now relive those moments while the others are able to closely experience this unforgettable concert. As an added bonus, a mini-documentary is included about the group’s history told by themselves and by people close to them.
In this work PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ collaborated with Enzo Villaparedes (Juan Gabriel, Joan Sebastian, Desorden Público, ETC) as a music producer and Raúl Garduño (Juan Gabriel, etc.) in the arrangements; to touch up the classics.
For the band, this has been the most important concert in their career so far. They took care of every single detail of the production: the projected visuals, the use of light, etc. to give the public a spectacle worth of celebration. With the “Y Queremos Más” tour, PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ strengthened their convening power leading them to do an extensive tour of one year during 2015 all across the Mexican Republic, the United States and Europe.
The group’s summer tour in the U.S. will now continue with the celebration of the launch of their new DVD+CD production and starts on July 2 in Houston, also performing in Chicago as one of the headliners of Ruido Fest and arriving for the first time in Toronto, Montreal and Seattle, WA. As part of their promotional activities, PANTEÓN ROCOCÓ will have direct meetings with their fans before their concerts by signing autographs and doing Meet & greets.
