Hospitality WiFi Appoints New Chief Development Officer
Matt Ward brings 20 years of experience in WLAN and WiFi sales and engineering
ADA, Ohio, April 3, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Hospitality WiFi, a leading provider of wireless services for hospitality properties, today announced the appointment of Matt Ward as Chief Development Officer. Matt Ward joins Hospitality WIFI from Extreme Networks (formerly Zebra/Motorola/Mesh Networks), where he served as Director of WLAN Hospitality Sales and Managed Service Provider Channels, dedicated to developing customer solutions for hotels, casinos, and MDUs through the deployment of Extreme WLAN product and software solutions.
In addition to his experience at Extreme, Matt also brings a breadth of knowledge from Cisco Systems and Siemens. Matt has 20 years of WLAN and WIFI experience gained from technical engineering deploying large WLAN networks worldwide in locations such as Barcelona, Spain; Dubai, UAE; and Sydney, Australia. Matt has also worked in product management, designing and delivering class-leading outdoor WLAN MESH products, and in sales leadership roles in North America across the Hospitality vertical, working with large brands and private resort customers. Matt holds a Bachelor of Computer Science with Management from the University of Kent Canterbury, London, United Kingdom, his home country of birth.
