FOWNDERS Joins ShopRite and Antony Robbins Foundation to Fight Hunger

FOWNDERS' "Basket Brigade" feeds over 100 families for Thanksgiving

FOWNDERS, the social-impact startup accelerator in Newark teamed up with Inserra Supermarkets, the family run ShopRite franchisee to feed 100 families this Thanksgiving in collaboration with the Anthony Robbins Foundation and its “Basket Brigade” initiative. The Anthony Robbins “Basket Brigade” has fed more than 100 million families worldwide.

FOWNDERS--founded by Elite Daily’s Gerard Adams and led by some of the sharpest entrepreneurial minds in marketing and sales--offers Seed to Scale, an application-based accelerator program that helps entrepreneurs make their startups a reality. FOWNDERS program participants earn their way through a proprietary curriculum consisting of mindset, emotional intelligence, marketing, sales designed to help them become the best version of themselves and create things that matter culminating in a pitch event to accredited investors willing to make investments upwards of $50,000.

For its contribution to the Anthony Robbins Basket Brigade FOWNDERS partnered with Lars Larsen and Inserra Supermarkets, which donated hundreds of pounds of canned goods, fresh produce, cake mix, cookie dough, drinks, plates and utensils. “Larsen and Inserra teamed up with us without hesitation,” said Gerard Adams, Chief Visionary Officer at FOWNDERS. “ShopRite showed up to the game,” added Adams--referring to their physical contributions to the Basket Brigade.

Regarding the Basket Brigade, Adams said: "If we can all focus on just doing one small act of kindness we can make a difference. It's our honor to partner with the Anthony Robbins Foundation and St. Lucy's Church--the church I've always been going to as a child and the recipient of our donations this Thanksgiving."

On Thanksgiving Eve the FOWNDERS team will be at St. Lucy's church in Newark, New Jersey, handing out meals to 100 families. All are welcome to help and donate.

Remember: All it takes is just one act of kindness for us all to make a difference this Thanksgiving holiday.
