We are keeping up with what the Department of Labor is going to do going forward. As well the many changes on the state level regarding things such as what you can and cannot do in an interview. And so there's quite a bit going on. It's been really crazy.

With nearly 30 years dedicated to law, Mr. Gabor brings a wealth of knowledge to his industry, and in particular to his areas of specialization, litigation as well as employment, and business law. When asked why he decided to pursue a career in law, Mr. Gabor said:
"I saw discrimination and thought about what I could do to stand up and help solve those issues. I was regarded in high school and college as a person who people came to when they had a dispute. Helping to solve those disagreements is something I became quite passionate about."
As a partner with The Wagner Group, Mr. Gabor acts as the head of the employment and labor law department as well as the litigation department. These positions entail a broad range of responsibilities; today, he is called upon to proactively represent clients in litigation, the negotiation and drafting of contracts, handling compliance issues, the creation of corporate infrastructure, the drafting of policies, training of employees and leading companies towards organizational excellence. All the while, Mr. Gabor is guided by the same principles that drew him to the law in the first place. As he says:
"The goal is to create an equal level playing field for everybody, while at the same time help counsel companies to be as successful as possible."
As a thought-leader in his field, Mr. Gabor is uniquely positioned to identify new trends in labor and employment law. Lately, he has been following developments at the Department of Labor, specifically new rules regarding the exempt verse 9 issue. He noted:
"We are keeping up with what the Department of Labor is going to do going forward. As well the many changes on the state level regarding things such as what you can and cannot do in an interview. And so there's quite a bit going on. It's been really crazy."
When he's not practicing the law, Mr. Gabor dedicates his time to his hometown of Essex where he serves on the finance committee, chairs the strategic planning committee, and is a member of the bicentennial committee. He is also active in the proVisors networking group and is an avid fan of University of Michigan sports.
