Bebe shares, “Tim was around five years old. He and his little cousin were playing. Alvin took them out to the station to watch them and play with them. He gave them a bag of M&M’s. He got busy and wasn’t paying attention to them. They sat down on the rim of a semi-truck tire. The tire was leaning against the station wall. The little girl stood up and threw the tire off balance. The steel rim hit Tim in the back of the head and the long stem went directly to the top of Tim’s head. Alvin started screaming, and I ran out of the house to see what was happening. Alvin said he was taking him to the hospital. At that point, I had no idea what had happened. I drove to the hospital and saw the doctors cleaning the wound and sewing up his head. The stem made a ‘v’ in the top of his head, and it went all the way to the skull. He had a knot on the back of his head and a concussion. His eyes were black and blue for a while. Again, God answered our prayers.”
