Avenga joins the UN Global Compact

Avenga, a global IT company and technology partner is pleased to announce that we have joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

With this announcement, Avenga is proud to join a global community of forward-looking companies that are committed to making a positive impact on society and the environment by applying the utmost integrity in our business actions.

The United Nations Global Compact is an inspiration to companies all over the world to align their operations and strategies within the ten universally accepted principles for the human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption arenas, and to take action in support of the UN's objectives and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The UN Global Compact was launched in 2000 and today it is the most eminent corporate sustainability initiative in the world with more than 12,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, representing nearly every sector and size.

As a participant of the UN Global Compact, Avenga is integrating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into our strategy of operations in order to create a culture of integrity and a sustainability commitment company-wide. We are taking action to inspire and advocate for others to join this global movement and to help improve society's well-being, protect the environment, and foster the growth of a global economy in a sustainable way.

"It's an honor to join the United Nations Global Compact and become a part of a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders that are making resolute business decisions to shape a better world that we all want for us, and the generations to come. At Avenga, we apply corporate sustainable business practices with the purpose of creating an integrated economic, societal, and environmental values.
