DULUTH, Minn., November 18, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Steven Kenworthy, an author who writes of his vivid dreams during his TBI recovery, has completed his new book "Candy Cane Lane": a high-spirited dreamland tale.
Kenworthy shares, "The inspiration for my books came from a very trying time in my life. In August 2004, I suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from an industrial accident which left me broken in spirit, mind and soul. For the next 16 years, I was in and out of hospitals, rehabilitation and therapy, both physical and psychological, all while rebuilding myself, literally, from the inside out! Fast forward to 2021, still unable to work and disabled, but I now find solace in writing children's books through the 'vivid dreams' I had during the recovery process. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them."
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Steven Kenworthy's new book embarks on a journey through dreamland. With pink waters, candy cane-lined streets, and trains that run on rainbow soda pop, the message is clear; anything is possible in dreams.
Readers can purchase "Candy Cane Lane" at bookstores everywhere or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
