Recent release "How Gracie Sees Christmas" from Covenant Books author April Wilbanks is an inspiring tale that shows how the beautiful little girl named Gracie uses her other senses to see and feel the essence of Christmas.

April Wilbanks is a speech pathologist and parent of a 16-year-old daughter who was born very early. As a result, her daughter has cerebral palsy and is blind. Wilbanks has completed her new book, “How Gracie Sees Christmas”: a wonderful Christmas story that touches the hearts of the readers as Gracie shows to them that she could also see and feel the yuletide season.

April writes, “Gracie is a little girl who is disabled and completely blind. Yet she has learned how to ‘see’ Christmas in a very special and meaningful way using her other senses. From the things she hears, smells, tastes, and feels, she has come to understand the little joys of Christmas that make it so wonderful.

“In this book, she will help you learn how to use your other senses to make Christmas truly the most magical time of year. To bring this book to life, try collecting some of the items in the book before you read it so you can practice using your other senses too!”
